DevOps Engineer (Security & Infrastructure) - Trading FirmA trading firm is seeking a hands-on DevOps Engineer to support a security-focused engineering team. This role involves building and operating scalable, secure infrastructure and developer tooling, partnering closely with platform, development, and security teams to embed security into modern workflows without slowing delivery.Responsibilities:Build and maintain CI/CD and GitOps workflowsDevelop tooling for data and application pipelinesIntegrate security controls into development pipelines (e.g., SAST/DAST)Support secrets management platforms (e.g., Vault)Improve observability, monitoring, and alertingAutomate operational and security processesSecure and manage Kubernetes/Docker environmentsAssist with incident response and system reliability improvementsRequirements:Strong scripting/programming skillsExperience with CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, etc.)Kubernetes and containerization experience at scaleSolid Linux and networking fundamentalsFamiliarity with cloud and hybrid environmentsUnderstanding of core security principlesNice to Have:Policy-as-code, observability tools, or experience in low-latency/trading environments This is a hybrid role based out of the firms Chicago or Austin office.
