Because doing so can fuel the very innovation we are pursuing.The general responsibilities of the position are the following:Live‑Die Reliability OwnershipOwn live‑die reliability qualification strategy and execution across NAND development nodes and productsDefine, review, and approve HTOL, dynamic stress, cycling, and mission‑profile‑based testing using live siliconDrive early silicon learning to identify cell, array, and peripheral reliability risksTechnical Analysis & Risk AssessmentAnalyze live‑die reliability data to assess wear‑out, drift, degradation, and failure mechanismsCorrelate live‑die results with bench, array‑level, and product‑level reliability modelsPerform risk assessments and clearly communicate reliability margin, gaps, and mitigation plansCross‑Functional CollaborationWork closely with Design, TD, PE, Failure Analysis, and Product Engineering teamsProvide design and process feedback based on live‑die reliability findingsSupport technology readiness, design reviews, and release decisions with data‑backed recommendationsMethodology & Continuous ImprovementImprove live‑die reliability methodologies, coverage, and efficiencyDrive standardization of test conditions, pass/fail criteria, and reportingMentor junior engineers and contribute to DDQA best practicesExperience Requirements5+ years of semiconductor engineering experience, with strong exposure to NAND device, circuit, or system reliability, quality engineering, or product qualification in an advanced technology node environment.Hands‑on experience working cross‑functionally with Technology Development (TD), Design Engineering (DE), Product Engineering (PE), and Manufacturing/Fab teams to resolve complex reliability risks and drive data‑based decisions. Strong data analysis capability, including mining large datasets, detecting abnormal trends, calculating reliability metrics (e.g., FIT, DPM), and translating results into actionable recommendations for leadership. Effective written and verbal communication skills, including experience authoring technical reports, presenting to diverse technical and leadership audiences, and facilitating cross‑functional reviews. Education RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Semiconductor Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline is required.Master’s degree or PhD in a relevant engineering or physical science field is strongly preferred, particularly with a focus on device physics, reliability engineering, or semiconductor materials.About Micron Technology, Inc.We are an industry leader in innovative memory and storage solutions transforming how the world uses information to enrich life for all.
