Surrounded by a diverse and collaborative global community, you’ll be inspired each day to stretch, grow, and make an impact.Learn about the Danaher Business System which makes everything possible.The Global Director Danaher Business System (DBS), Commercial is responsible for the development and implementation of the Danaher Business System (DBS) within the global commercial organization, focusing on Sales, Marketing, and Service. This role drives continuous improvement, commercial excellence, AI-enabled transformation, and capability building to achieve strategic and financial objectives.This position reports to the VP of DBS and is part of the Danaher Business System Team and will be an on-site role in Deer Park, IL.In this role, you will have the opportunity to:Provide strategic leadership for the deployment of the DBS Commercial Playbook, embedding a strong continuous improvement mindset and ensuring consistent, enterprise‑level adoption across global commercial teams.Set and steer the annual DBS strategic agenda in partnership with senior commercial leaders, translating business priorities into a focused portfolio of high‑impact DBS initiatives.Oversee execution of critical DBS Growth tools—including Funnel Management, Pricing Excellence, Transformative Marketing, and Product Launch Excellence—to elevate commercial capabilities and accelerate sustainable revenue growth.Champion operational excellence by identifying systemic workflow barriers and leading enterprise‑level waste‑elimination and process‑simplification efforts that enhance speed, quality, and scalability.Develop DBS capability across the organization through executive‑level coaching in Policy Deployment, Daily Management, Problem Solving Process, and Kaizen, ensuring leadership teams can drive continuous improvement independently.Partner with regional and global commercial leadership teams to align on DBS priorities, harmonize execution approaches, and foster cross‑market collaboration and best‑practice sharing.Shape the future of DBS tools and methodologies by providing strategic field insights and serving as the primary interface with the Danaher Corporate DBS Office to influence tool enhancements and accelerate adoption.The essential requirements of the job include:8+ years of enterprise leadership experience driving continuous improvement, operational excellence, and large-scale business transformation, with direct alignment to commercial outcomes including revenue growth, market share expansion, and customer retention.Proven success leading complex, cross-functional initiatives with clear accountability, delivering measurable impact across growth, productivity, quality, delivery, and end-to-end customer experience.Demonstrated success partnering with senior leaders across sales, marketing, and service organizations is required. Operating as a trusted extension of the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) to drive commercial execution and business performance without formal authority is preferred.Strong commercial orientation with experience supporting or directly leading go-to-market strategies, sales enablement, and customer-facing initiatives; exposure to quota-bearing environments or revenue accountability strongly preferred.Deep expertise in DBS, Lean, or comparable management systems, with the ability to embed advanced analytics and AI-enabled solutions into commercial and operational workflows to accelerate growth and efficiency.Experience shaping and driving strategic planning, Policy Deployment, and enterprise operating reviews, with a sharp focus on execution rigor, performance visibility, and sustained business results.Strong business and financial acumen, with a disciplined approach to prioritizing digital and AI investments based on value creation, ROI, and commercial scalability. Exceptional communicator and facilitator with executive presence, capable of influencing senior commercial leaders and coaching high-performing teams while building scalable leadership capability across the organization.Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:Ability to travel 35% globally with flexibility, per business needsIt would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:Commercial Ops Excellence or Commercial StrategyExperience developing and owning strategic plan initiatives and policy deployment.Exposure to and participation in a wide variety of training and facilitation environments.At Leica Biosystems, we believe in designing a better, more sustainable workforce.
