Located on the gulf coast of Florida, with a population of over 180,000, Charlotte County is spring training home to the Tampa Bay Rays and home to their A-Advanced affiliate, the Charlotte Stone Crabs. The Senior Financial Analyst performs responsible, professional, lead accounting work including financial accounting, revenue collection, debt planning, financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting for County departments. In addition, this position will work with Municipal Service Benefit Units, capital funding and capital improvement projects, along with the federal and state grant compliance that is associated.
This position is eligible for telework once the initial new hire probationary period has been completed.

Minimum Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business/public administration, finance, economics or related field.Three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in government finance/budgetingOr an equivalent combination of relevant training, education, and experience.
