Surrounded by extraordinary people, inspiring leaders, and world changing projects, you will do more and become more than you ever thought possible.The Senior Staff Outbound Product Manager is a market-facing, commercially focused technical product leader responsible for translating product strategy and capabilities into clear customer value, differentiated positioning, and scalable go‑to‑market execution.This role sits at the intersection of Product, Marketing, Sales, and Customers, ensuring that our software products resonate with enterprise life sciences customers and drive measurable business impact.At the Senior Staff level, this role operates with strategic autonomy, influences portfolio‑level decisions, and serves as a voice of the customer and market authority across multiple products or platforms. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in life sciences software, strong exposure to enterprise customers, a proven track record supporting SaaS go‑to‑market motions, and a proven ability to translate industry and customer trends into detailed technical product requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesMarket & Customer LeadershipAct as the primary voice of customers and the market, representing customer needs, workflows, and buying drivers across product linesWholly own and drive relationships with our most strategic customersLead deep Voice of Customer (VoC) efforts, including enterprise customer interviews, field engagement, advisory boards, and win/loss analysisDevelop and maintain customer personas, buyer profiles, and use‑case narratives across life sciences segments (e.g., research, clinical, regulated environments)Partner closely with Sales, Customer Success, and Field Marketing to identify commercial gaps, expansion opportunities, and adoption barriersPositioning, Messaging & DifferentiationOwn and evolve product positioning, value propositions, and messaging frameworks across a portfolio of software productsTranslate complex technical capabilities into clear, compelling, customer‑centric narratives tailored for enterprise buyers and decision makersLead competitive analysis and market intelligence efforts; identify actionable differentiation and competitive response strategiesInfluence product strategy by clearly articulating market problems, unmet needs, and commercial opportunitiesGo‑to‑Market Strategy & ExecutionDefine and drive end‑to‑end go‑to‑market strategies for new product launches, major releases, and platform capabilitiesPartner with Engineering to ensure roadmap decisions align with commercial impact and market readinessEnable Sales and Customer Success through sales plays, enablement materials, demos, pricing/packaging input, and objection handlingSupport enterprise deals, including customer briefings, RFPs, technical/commercial narratives, and executive presentationsCross‑Functional Influence & LeadershipOperate as a senior, trusted partner to Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Executive stakeholdersInfluence product direction across multiple products or platforms by grounding decisions in customer and market insightLead outbound best practices, frameworks, and process improvements across the product organizationMentor and guide other product managers and marketers on outbound, commercial, and customer‑centric practicesRequirements:Typically requires a minimum of 12 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 8 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 5 years of experience; or equivalent experience.Strong analytical skills requiredStrong verbal and written communication skills requiredAbility to present complex ideas and information clearly and succinctly in a group settingDemonstrated knowledge and experience in requirements gathering, development & scrum product owner roleKnowledge of the full software development life cycleKnowledge of genomics analysis software and pipeline creationKnowledge of cloud platforms for genomics data analysisDemonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and multi-disciplinary teams in a complex fast paced environmentKnowledge of user experience design in developing software solutions with exceptional usabilityPrior programming experience a plusKnowledge of data engineering/data networks is a plusExperience working in an ISO:13485 or FDA regulated (QSR) environment is a plus#LI-HYBRIDThe estimated base salary range for the Senior Staff Software Outbound Technical Product Manager role based in the United States of America is: $155,600 - $233,400. Should the level or location of the role change during the hiring process, the applicable base pay range may be updated accordingly. The range reflects long‑term growth in the role; therefore, most candidates are hired between the minimum and middle of the range. Placement depends on experience, skills, location, and internal equity. Additionally, all employees are eligible for one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package.
