Job DescriptionHarborview Medical Center’s Psychiatry Department has an outstanding opportunity for a Staff Scheduling Coordinator. WORK SCHEDULE40 hours per weekDay ShiftPOSITION HIGHLIGHTSShowcase your detail-oriented skills and problem-solving abilities.Influence a team and create efficienciesPRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIESSchedule RN’s, Patient Service Specialists, and Patient Care Techs in scheduling software (UKG Pro.)Record keeping including tracking minimum shift requirements for intermittent staff members, and tracking timecard exceptionsProcess shifts requestsAnswer questions from staff members re: staffing/scheduling questionsSchedule staff members for last-minute shiftsPractice fiscal responsibility be minimizing the use of overtime and maintaining productivity within target rangeREQUIREMENTSHigh school graduation or equivalent AND two years of administrative experience.Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license, certification, and/or registration.DESIREDExcellent written and oral communication skills; this role will interact with staff members and communicate regularly with the hospital staffing officeThe ability to prioritize and organize tasksComputer literacy including UKG Pro.
