You can review the additional job description section on postings for documents that may be required.Prior to submitting your application, please review and update (if necessary) the information in your candidate profile as it will transfer to your application. Job Title:Clinical Research AssistantDepartment:Medicine | PsychiatryThe university will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position.This position requires traveling to research participants’ homes to collect specimens and data; therefore, a valid driver’s license is requiredThe Clinical Research Assistant will provide assistance in support of clinical research studies focused on the biological mechanisms (circadian rhythms and gut-brain axis) that underlie the behavioral (and other) side effects of chemotherapy (e.g., fatigue, mood, cognitive impairment, diarrhea) in breast cancer patients; assist with implementation and coordination of studies; assist with regulatory documents; participate in recruitment of study participants; perform behavioral or diagnostic testing; retrieve stool and blood samples; perform biosample processing in our lab; assist with collection maintenance & reporting of clinical research data.This position requires traveling to research participants’ homes to collect specimens and data; therefore, a valid driver’s license is required.MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences, Health Sciences, or medical field, or equivalent combination of education and experience required. 0 years of relevant experience required. 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred.Additional Information:Location:Institute of Brain, Behavior and Immunology (0878)Position Type:Term (Fixed Term)Scheduled Hours:40Shift:First ShiftFinal candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check.  A drug screen or physical may be required during the post offer process.Thank you for your interest in positions at The Ohio State University and Wexner Medical Center.
