In this role, you’ll ensure high availability across multiple servers and applications, drive daily operational excellence, lead long‑term upgrades and migrations, and constantly expand your technical capabilities across a broad ecosystem of tools and platforms. If you love solving complex problems, working with diverse technologies, and owning impactful work, you'll thrive here.Responsibilities:Platform & Cloud EngineeringBuild and manage AWS infrastructure across multi-account, multi-environment landing zonesDesign and implement system solutions that support mission and enterprise needsInstall, configure, deploy, and maintain servers and software across Windows and LinuxMonitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure uninterrupted operationsMaintain secure, efficient cloud-hosted infrastructure adhering to best practicesOperations & Infrastructure ManagementLead system upgrades, IAVA patching, and STIG complianceTroubleshoot outages and performance issues across compute, network, and storageImplement multi‑region disaster recovery, backup automation, failover, and resilience strategiesManage identity, access controls, firewalls, and backup policiesCreate and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and policy guidesCollaboration & DeliveryWork within a SAFe Agile delivery model alongside application, data, and security teamsSupport IaaS, IaC, networking, and security engineering effortsEnsure systems meet contract requirements for performance, availability, and securityQualifications:Required: US Citizenship is required and an active Secret ClearanceProven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar infrastructure roleStrong verbal and written communication skills with cross‑functional teamsHands‑on experience with servers, LAN/WAN networking, and patch management in virtual/cloud environmentsAbility to interpret, distill, and document solution requirementsSelf‑starter who can work independently with minimal supervisionExpertise working with Windows and Linux operating systemsProduction-level Kubernetes/EKS and containerization experience (Docker/containerd, image building)Active Directory and identity federation integration expertise7+ years of related experienceBachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experienceSecurity+ CertificationAWS Cloud CertificationsDesired:Familiarity with Git, Jenkins CI/CD, Terraform, DockerExperience with STIG compliance and security patchingKnowledge of AWS environments and cloud‑native servicesScripting experience (Shell, Perl, PowerShell) and automation technologiesStrong Terraform capability (modules, state management, reusable IaC) and AnsibleExperience with observability and logging tools (Splunk, CloudWatch)-What You Can Expect: A culture of integrity.At CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
