A Day in The Life Of: Lead the global financial strategy for incentives tied to growth, investment, and site-selection decisionsEvaluate incentive opportunities using financial modelling, scenario analysis, and risk assessmentDeliver clear recommendations to senior leadership on which opportunities to pursue and how to structure themPartner with Government Affairs, Tax, Legal, and regional teams to shape financially sound incentive agreementsIntegrate incentives into business cases, capital planning, and broader enterprise investment decisionsServe as the Finance lead for governance, ensuring a consistent and disciplined approach across the incentive’s portfolioOversee accounting, compliance, forecasting, and realization tracking across the full incentive lifecycleProvide visibility into approved, forecasted, and realized value while monitoring commitments and enterprise riskKey Skills & Experience  Bachelor’s level 8 degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field and minimum of 10 years of relevant experience or advanced degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experienceMBA or relevant professional qualification (CPA, ACA, ACCA, CFA)Experience with government incentives, site-selection, tax incentives, or public-sector funding programsSignificant experience in corporate finance, strategic finance, or investment analysis within a global organizationStrong command of financial valuation methodologies (NPV, IRR, payback, scenario modelling)Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead decision-making across cross-functional teamsExperience structuring complex financial arrangements and managing risk, compliance, and governance requirementsExcellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex financial analysis into clear business recommendationsMedtronic offer a competitive salary and flexible Benefits Package  Physical Job RequirementsThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position.   Benefits & CompensationMedtronic offers a competitive Salary and flexible Benefits PackageA commitment to our employees lives at the core of our values.
