CAREERS THAT CHANGE LIVES We are excited to be hiring a Senior Clinical Effectiveness Specialist to join the Heart Valve, Cardiac Ablation and Revascularization businesses (Surgical Based Therapies) in the assigned territory. This role will be responsible for providing administrative, sales, and training support to the sales team.CardioVascular Surgery seeks collaborative candidates who are patient-centric, passionate, and who represent the same wide variety of life experiences as our patients. A DAY IN THE LIFE: POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: These are hybrid sales/training roles.Provides administrative, sales and training support to the sales function.These roles will support some specific sales training activities and act as a remote Clinical Specialist and perform specific clinical specialist’s duties.Supports field personnel in providing the best possible outcomes and service for Medtronic customers.Partners with US Sales Team to provide customer case support, and identifies and facilitates execution on growth opportunities with Sales and Clinical Support team.Serves as a technical resource to support sales of a specific medical product or solution.Create analytics for business optimization.Regularly educate and train new hires and junior colleagues.MUST HAVE: BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION, THE FOLLOWING BASIC QUALIFICATIONS MUST BE EVIDENT ON YOUR RESUME Bachelor's degree with 4 years of relevant experienceOR Advanced degree with 2 years of relevant experienceNICE TO HAVE: DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Preference will be given to local qualified candidates and candidates with Medtronic experience Experience in cardiovascular spaceTrack record of success in high pressure environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to develop and successfully follow through with a strategic plan PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS: The physical demands described within the Responsibilities section of this job description are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to be independently mobile Work and Travel Requirements Available/willing to work/travel weekends and evenings This position requires on-call time Continuous verbal and written communication Ability to transport product/equipment from car to hospital Sitting, standing and/or walking for up to eight plus hours per day Environmental exposures include eye protection, infectious disease and radiation Ability to travel extensively with ease (approx. 10% of time) Must be able to drive approximately 80% of the time within assigned territory Must have a valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance policy.
