Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas.Develops, constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems.Drafts electrical and pneumatic schematics as required for simple and complex systems.Designs and models components and assemblies in 3D CAD software.  Works from schematics, engineering drawings, and written or verbal instructions.Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format.Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions.Required Knowledge and Experience: Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.Nice-to-Have:Experience with CAD software (PTC Creo)Experience with 3D printing and prototypingSome basic knowledge of PLC programming/ladder logic For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.Physical Job RequirementsThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position. The physical demands described within the Responsibilities section of this job description are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
