Work Flexibility: Hybrid or OnsiteEngineer, Research & Development Tempe, AZAs an R&D Engineer, you will contribute to design, prototyping, testing, and documentation activities across the product lifecycle, while partnering with cross-functional teams to support project execution. Responsibilities include applying design controls and supporting product development activities under guidance while building foundational engineering knowledge.What you will doSupport the design, development, modification, and verification of medical device components and systems under supervisionAssist in building prototypes and performing bench testing to evaluate product performanceConduct root cause analysis and evaluate potential solutions against defined requirementsPerform research and technical studies to support product design decisionsInterpret customer needs and translate them into defined design inputsDevelop and maintain engineering documentation, including Design History Files, in compliance with design control proceduresApply industry standards, regulatory requirements, and test strategies in design and development activitiesCollaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality, Manufacturing, Regulatory, Clinical, Marketing, and Project Management to support project deliverablesWhat you will needRequired Qualifications:Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related engineering field0+ years of experiencePreferred Qualifications:Knowledge of engineering principles, design methods, and development processesExperience with CAD or CAE tools for design and concept generationKnowledge of analysis tools and statistical methodsUnderstanding of materials and manufacturing processesExposure to engineering work in a regulated environment (e.g., medical devices, pharmaceuticals, aerospace)   $69,500 - $110,900 USD Annual   Travel Percentage: 10%Stryker Corporation is an equal opportunity employer.
