Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world.Raytheon’s Mission Capability and Verification Center (MCVC) located on White Sands Missile Range, NM is searching for a qualified HVAC Field Engineer to support Tactical HVAC operations domestically and internationally. The candidate will be involved in the installation, operation, maintenance, repair, troubleshoot and modification of radar Environmental Controls, HVAC systems and subsystems for our radar systems.What You Will DoPerform installation, operation, maintenance, repair, troubleshoot and modification of radar Environmental Controls, HVAC systems and subsystems.Implement preventive maintenance program to maintain efficient performance of systems and maintain records of all correction actions to systemsTravel up to 75% of the time to domestic and international remote locationsWork long hours and/or weekends as neededWork in remote and hazardous locationsWill be exposed to energized equipment, radar radiation hazards, and unexploded ordnanceQualifications You Must Have Typically requires a degree and a minimum of 2 (two) + years of relevant HVAC experience, including completion of an HVAC technician certificationEPA 608 Certified or obtain within 30 days of hireExperience with blueprints and electrical schematicsExperience with the installation, maintenance and repair of industrial refrigeration, air conditioning mechanical components to include but not limited toQualifications We Prefer Experience with operation of basic hand toolsExperience with Mil-Spec work on Tactical EquipmentElectrical wiring knowledgeKnowledge of Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and proper storage of chemicalsAbility to carry and lift 28 pounds, access confined spaces, and climb tall laddersWhat We OfferOur values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
