Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world. Raytheon’s Mission Capability Verification Center (MCVC) located on White Sands Missile Range (WSMR), NM is seeking a Systems Engineering Section Lead to join our team.  At MCVC we plan and conduct complex integrated field tests, provide system integration and sell-off, and provide operational expertise to a variety of missile and radar programs.  The Section Leader will be responsible for a team of engineers managing our Sensors & BMCI group in support of the AN/TPY2 program.  This team is responsible for radar and tactical equipment operation, test, and integration at WSMR and abroad.  The Section Leader is a dual role position and will require active participation on the MCVC leadership team as well as supporting our programs as a Principal Systems Engineer. The candidate is expected to embrace MCVC goals and initiatives, monitor team dynamics, collaborate with programs and site leadership on staffing, provide employee feedback, mentor employees, develop skills in alignment with MCVC needs, and be actively involved in daily program operations.  This position provides an opportunity to improve your skillset by contributing to the development of our workforce.
