Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.Collins Aerospace team is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer with a passion for avionics, a high degree of accountability and ability to thrive in an Agile team environment as a part of the Program Systems Engineering team in our Business & Regional Avionics department.   We are searching for experienced avionics engineer who enjoys working in a collaborative team environment.  The Sr. Systems Engineer would primarily engage in the execution phase of the program life cycle, working in design, verification, and certification activities for the system. This candidate should be organized, have great communication & leadership skills, and a desire to learn and to mentor junior engineers.  This role does require the ability to work regularly on-site in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The ideal candidate will have an unwavering positive attitude, be highly responsive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, and strive to perform high-quality work proactively and efficiently.  This person will consistently demonstrate professionalism in their interactions with all levels of the organization and will routinely go above and beyond expectations in performing their work.
