We put our systems together, exercise them in the lab or in the field, measure and analyze performance, and make sure our products work the first time and every time. To accomplish this, we develop plans and procedures, debug and evaluate system functions and interfaces, develop test environments, and work hand-in-hand with our customers.The Mission Capability Verification Center within Systems Integration and Test is searching for qualified Engineering Technician to support program test operations with our team at White Sands Missile Range, NM.Primary tasks will include general support, equipment movement, site establishment and site sustainment locally on WSMR and multiple testing locations globally. Candidates will collaborate with several program teams to support multiple needs and efforts to achieve timely execution and completion of established goals, as well as support general facility maintenance. The selected candidate will work in an engineering environment to support and facilitate testing of engineering hardware in accordance with customer and internal requirements and industry standards. Test events may occur over weekends or holidays, and may require extended hours. This position is an onsite role at WSMR located in White Sands, NM.What You Will DoSupport mission execution test events for our radars or missile flight tests, which could include travel to various sites on rangeProvide technical support to engineers on a variety of tasks50% travel is required to support assigned systems. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
