We create leading-edge technology solutions to prevent security threats, secure the integrity of our systems and support IT infrastructures around the world.What You Will Do:You will be supporting Raytheon program in a classified environment as a Principal System Administrator and the responsibilities are as follows:You will be monitoring and support of systems that are operational 24x7 and which occasionally require work effort beyond standard work hours. This position is 8x5 with after-hours call-in responsibility.You will collaborate with many teams to support exciting, critical programs with classified information system capabilities.Success in this role means you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining system health and security posture, directly supporting customer mission-critical capabilities.You will work closely with program developers and system engineers to research issues, determine root causes, and implement solutions to system problems.Additionally, the position serves as a help desk team member in a customer-facing environment, so the ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with other teams and with the customer is of utmost importance, as you will be expected to uphold our excellent reputation.The ability to work effectively with frequent and direct customer interaction in a real-time operational environment.The ability to work under pressure in restoring high priority systems back to operations.This position is 100% onsite in Stennis, MS.Qualifications You Must Have:Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years’ experience.Active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI with poly security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance(on start date) Must have an active DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification (or higher) on start date. IAT Level 2 requires one or more of the following Professional Certifications: Security+ CE, CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, CySA+, CND.Experience with VMWare or Linux Systems Administration working with customers in technical operations or engineering.Experience with tape librariesExperience with storage products such as from Dell/EMC (e.g., Isilon/PowerScale) and/or Net AppMust have experience with troubleshooting and debugging applications.
