Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.Provide Operations Engineering support to the Circuit Card Assembly Factory located in Andover, MA.  Primary responsibilities will be to support the Operation of Conformal Coating Process lines.  This includes automated and programable equipment, for multiple products, and multiple coating types.  Additional responsibilities include process improvement, cycle time reduction, defect prevention and operator support. Individuals will be required to participate in process improvement initiatives, establishment of process base line metrics, SPC implementation, Defect prevention, and process data analysis. What You Will DoCreating and overseeing projects using risk management techniquesTranslating engineering design requirements into formal manufacturing process documentationComputer and machine programming for manufacturing automationDispositioning of discrepant hardwareLeading root cause and corrective action investigations to solve problems and prevent recurrenceParticipate in process improvement and cost reduction initiatives using Lean Manufacturing methodologyManufacturing process development and supportConducting safety / ergonomic assessmentsInteraction with senior personnel on technical matters requiring coordination between organizations and / or suppliers.Tool/fixture development to drive ergonomics and reductions in cost and/or defects.Operator supportQualifications You Must HaveTypically requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and a minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience. 1+ years of manufacturing experience.The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
