Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.At Raytheon, fresh thinking and possibilities are forged in times of change and you will be on the front lines as we trailblaze new approaches, push the boundaries of innovation and chart a course to a tomorrow you can be proud to have a hand in creating.The Digital Products Configuration Management (DPCM), formerly known as Software Configuration Management (SWCM), department provides innovative solutions through automation, continuous improvement, and a skilled workforce providing support for all digital products, including software, COTS and FOSS components, simulations, MBSE models and artifacts, test equipment software, and other program-critical digital assets.SWCM department is hiring a Digital Product Configuration Management Engineer I, to work as a Data/Software Transfer Agent onsite in Woburn, MA.What You Will Do:Perform and execute digital data/file transfers among isolated or segmented networksProvide courier support among various environments/networksApply data classification rules to ensure only authorized data moves between networksBuild and maintain strong working relationships across all teamsAutomate and streamline transfer procedures and processesCreate customized / tailored configurations, workflows, automations, reports, and integrations that meet specific program, customer and/or site requirementsTrouble-shoot / repair issues, escalations, and action itemsMaintain familiarity with program schedule, identifying risks and aligning work to promote reuse and efficiencySupport internal and external customers in a technical capacity throughout the program lifecycleQualifications You Must Have:Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred)Experience in debugging/troubleshooting of connectivity issues in complex systemsAutomation experience shell scripting in Linux, Unix, and WindowsThe ability to obtain and maintain an ***interim Secret U.S. security clearance is required prior to start date.
