Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly motivated and strategic Global Access Insights Director in oncology to join our Market Access Insights & Forecasting organization. This role sits at the intersection of market access strategy, advanced analytics, and research, enabling data-driven decision-making to support global access, pricing, and reimbursement strategies.The successful candidate will lead the design and delivery of integrated market access insights across the oncology portfolio, leveraging capabilities including market research, advanced analytics, predictive modeling, and external data sources (e.g., Navlin).This role is aligned with our access insights framework, delivering insights across descriptive, comparative, predictive, and technology-enabled domains to strengthen evidence and inform access strategy.The Director, Oncology Global Access Insights will demonstrate a proactive, strategic mindset, a strong understanding of the evolving US and global healthcare landscape, and deep expertise in the payer environment. The position requires strong strategic thinking, cross-functional leadership, and the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for senior leadership.Primary ResponsibilitiesStrategic Partnership & Insight LeadershipServe as a strategic partner to global oncology market access and pricing teams to help identify and frame key business questionsDevelop integrated research and analytics plans to inform global access strategiesDeliver actionable insights and recommendations to senior stakeholdersTranslate insights into compelling, executive-ready narrativesStrong understanding of primary market research methodologies and their use in generating actionable insightsData Integration & Advanced AnalyticsUtilize emerging technologies related to large language models and agentic AI including use case development on behalf of GMAx stakeholdersIntegrate primary market research, secondary data, and external data sourcesDevelop ex-US predictive models for pricing, access, and reimbursement scenariosEnsure scalability and reuse of insightsExecution of Global Access Insights FrameworkDescriptive: ExplainComparative: TestPredictive: Model future access outcomesTechnology: Enable real-time insight deliveryLeadership ResponsibilitiesLead and mentor cross-functional teams including direct and indirect reports located across the globeFoster innovation, collaboration, and strong stakeholder partnership across matrixed teamsSupport capability building, talent development, and a culture of continuous learningDrive agile delivery models and high-quality insight generation in a fast-evolving environmentRequired EducationUndergraduate degree in related discipline requiredMBA or Master’s degree in Public Health, Health Economics, Pharmacy, Business, Statistics, Policy, or a related field preferredRequired Experience & SkillsMinimum of 8 years of relevant delivery of complex insight projects in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry, including at least 5 years’ experience in market access (global experience preferred)5+ years in oncologyExperience could be from a similar role at a pharmaceuticals firm or at a management consulting firm. Strong understanding of the global pharma landscape and commercial analytics capabilities (market research, forecasting, data driven analytics, advanced analytics, etc.)Strong understanding of oncology access dynamics (US, EU, CN, JP)Cross-functional leadership experienceStrong communication, presentation and leadership skillsAbility to understand business process and break down business questions into specific, tangible hypotheses and requirements to guide analysis. Excellent problem-solving skills with an appreciation for data oriented analytical methods.Ability to operate in an unstructured environment and have strong organizational skills to create structure and clarity.
