We provide our global teams with the resources needed to achieve individual career goals while helping to take science a step beyond by developing solutions for some of the world’s toughest challenges, like protecting the environment, making sure our food is safe or helping find cures for cancer.How will you make an impact?The Procurement Manager Indirect is responsible for deploying and executing sourcing strategies across indirect spend supporting the ImmunoDiagnostics Division (IDD).This role partners closely with Operations, R&D, Quality, Finance, and Commercial teams to deliver value through productivity, spend optimization, supply assurance, and innovation. The position ensures alignment between global category strategies and divisional priorities, while addressing the specific requirements of a regulated diagnostics environment.Operating within a lean procurement setup, this role requires strong prioritization, stakeholder enablement, and the ability to deliver results across a broad and diverse indirect spend landscape.Scope of ResponsibilitiesLead the development and execution of indirect procurement strategies aligned with global category strategies and divisional prioritiesDeliver key performance indicators, including cost savings, cost avoidance, quality, service, compliance, and risk mitigationDrive delivery of Annual Operating Plan (AOP) commitments, including productivity and cost improvement initiativesOperate across a broad portfolio of indirect spend categories (e.g. Professional Services, FM, MRO, CapEx, Logistics, R&D) based on business prioritiesDrive value through procurement leadership, including leading and supporting initiatives executed in collaboration with business functionsEnsure adoption and continuous improvement of procurement processes, tools, and category strategies, providing guidance to drive consistent practices, compliance, and value delivery across decentralized sourcing, including high-level support of indirect procurement systems<>·Category Strategy Execution and Leadership ResponsibilitiesExecute sourcing strategies and lead end-to-end sourcing activities, including supplier negotiations and contract managementIdentify and prioritize opportunities for cost, productivity, and demand optimizationManage and develop the supplier base to ensure performance, continuous improvement, and risk mitigationPartner with IDD stakeholders to support operations, NPI, and product lifecycle activities through value-focused procurementLeverage data, market insights, and standard processes to drive decision-making and operational excellenceInfluence and align cross-functional stakeholders to deliver high-impact results across sites and functionsEducation, Experience, Knowledge and SkillsBachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience7+ years of procurement/sourcing experience in a multinational environmentExperience in indirect procurement and category managementStrong background in business partnering and stakeholder management and experience from working with global cross-functional teamsExperience in regulated industries (diagnostics, medical device, pharma, life sciences) preferredExperience in an international organization, working closely with manufacturing operations preferredExcellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to develop professional presentations and present effectively to senior leadershipStrong commercial acumen and negotiation skills and ability to translate business needs into sourcing strategiesStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesAbility to influence without authority and drive alignmentKnowledge of supplier risk, quality, and compliance frameworksResults-driven with a continuous improvement mindsetAdditional RequirementsAbility to travel (~10%)Fluency in English required; additional languages beneficial
