As Director of Key Accounts, you'll serve as the primary interface between strategic partners and Thermo Fisher, developing and implementing account strategies that leverage our full portfolio of innovative solutions. Guide Account Management Teams to deliver exceptional customer value while ensuring operational excellence, quality standards, and financial targets. Build and maintain executive-level relationships with customers while collaborating across divisions to increase market presence and profitability.EducationBachelor's degree plus 8+ years of experience in enterprise-level account management, with 5+ years in leadership rolesPreferred Fields of Study: Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related scientific fieldsIn some cases, an equivalency, consisting of a combination of appropriate education, training and/or directly related experience, will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet the requirements of the role.  Knowledge Skills & AbilitiesDemonstrated success in revenue growth through strategic account management and complex contract negotiationsStrong financial acumen and analytical skills to assess business opportunities and manage P&LExcellent relationship building abilities at executive/C-suite level with both internal and external stakeholdersExperience leading and developing teams in a matrix environmentStrong communication, presentation, and negotiation skillsDeep understanding of healthcare, biotech, or pharmaceutical industriesDemonstrated ability to create and execute strategic account plansProficient in project management, budgeting, forecasting and resource planningStrong knowledge of regulatory guidelines and compliance requirementsAbility to travel up to 50% for customer meetings and site visitsAdditional language capabilities preferredProficiency with MS Office Suite and CRM systemsExperience creating collaborative team environments aligned with company valuesCompensation and BenefitsThe salary range estimated for this position based in Massachusetts is $170,000.00–$220,000.00.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
