In this role, you'll perform organic chemical reactions/ formulations and manufacturing activities in a GMP/ISO-regulated environment, working with state-of-the-art equipment and technologies. You'll execute manufacturing protocols, troubleshoot processes, maintain detailed documentation, and collaborate across functions to ensure high-quality output. This position offers opportunities to drive continuous improvement while working in a team-oriented setting focused on safety, quality and operational excellence.Location: This is a fully onsite position based at our Milwaukee, WI site. Unfortunately, relocation assistance is NOT provided.  Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future. Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check, which includes a drug screen.  A Day in the Life:Prepare organic chemical reactions/ formulations according to approved manufacturing protocolsSupport batch production activities in regulated environmentsComplete batch records, manufacturing documentation, and quality records accuratelyIdentify process deviations, investigate issues, and escalate appropriatelyFollow GMP, ISO, SOP, safety, and quality requirementsOperate laboratory and manufacturing equipment safely and effectively following assigned SOPsSupport process optimization and operational excellence initiativesCross-Functional CollaborationWork with Quality, Operations, Manufacturing, and Technical teamsMinimum Requirements:Bachelor's Degree required with no prior experience in pharmaceutical/biotechnology manufacturing, formulation development, or related laboratory workPreferred Fields of Study: Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Engineering or related scientific fieldExperience following controlled procedures, SOPs, documentation requirements, quality standards in a manufacturing environmentProficient in documentation practices and batch record completionExperience with quality systems and regulatory compliance (GMP, ISO)Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detailStrong organizational and time management skillsProven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environmentProficiency with Microsoft Office applications and laboratory software systemsStrong written and verbal communication skillsPhysical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work while wearing required PPEAbility to work flexible hours including possible shift workDemonstrated commitment to workplace safety protocolsKnowledge of data analysis and basic statistical methods such as trend analysis, stoichiometryWillingness to learn new techniques and adapt to changing prioritiesPreferred Requirements:Strong knowledge of laboratory equipment, analytical methods and instrumentationBuffer preparation, reagent preparation, solution preparation, product formulationGMP, GLP, ISO 9001 environmentsCAPA awareness, deviation handling, quality investigationsControlled environment manufacturing; clean room is a plusChromelleon, M-Drive, AMAPS, TrackwiseTroubleshooting process or equipment issues
