Until the transaction is complete, Thermo Fisher will continue to operate the business. If you join the microbiology business prior to the close of the transaction, your employment is expected to transition to Astorg.For more information, please review:  Thermo Fisher’s press release Astorg press releaseDESCRIPTION:Contribute to ensuring optimal inventory levels and supplier performance while supporting our mission to enable customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.Manage procurement activities for a portfolio of products and suppliers, implementing inventory plans and purchase order processes to optimize customer satisfaction, service levels, and inventory investment.This role offers opportunities to enhance continuous improvement, develop supplier relationships, and contribute to strategic sourcing initiatives across our organization.REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's degree, no prior experience required; experience in procurement or supply chain in a manufacturing or distribution environment preferredPreferred Fields of Study: Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations, or related fieldProficient in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skillsStrong analytical and data interpretation abilities to manage large volumes of dataExperience with inventory management systems and methodologiesExcellent negotiation and supplier relationship management skillsStrong written and verbal communication abilitiesDemonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional environmentDetail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skillsExperience with continuous improvement methodologies (PPI, Lean)Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesKnowledge of procurement best practices and industry standardsStrong customer service orientation and problem-solving abilitiesFamiliarity with quality management systems and regulatory requirements preferred
