As a Field Applications Scientist, you'll serve as a trusted technical advisor helping customers optimize their use of our advanced technologies across multiple scientific domains. In this role, you'll deliver exceptional pre-sales and post-sales support through product demonstrations, hands-on training, troubleshooting assistance, and technical consultation. Working closely with sales teams and cross-functional partners, you'll help customers achieve significant discoveries while building long-term relationships that drive business success. This role offers extensive opportunities for professional growth and development within an organization committed to enabling customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.Location: Germany – Remote / Field. Coverage includes Germany and other countries in the Central region. Ideally based in North Germany.Keys to Success:Education:MSc or PhD in Biology, Immunology, Cell Biology, Microbiology, Stem Cell Biology, Biotechnology, or a related scientific fieldExperience:At least 4 years of experience working with flow cytometry instrumentsMinimum of 4 years of laboratory experience, including sample preparation, compensation, and use of appropriate controlsExperience in spectral flow cytometry and Luminex products is preferredKnowledge, Skills, Abilities:Demonstrated expertise in field application support, customer training, and technical troubleshootingProven ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across internal and field-based teamsExcellent time management and organizational skillsStrong presentation and communication skills for delivering technical content to diverse audiencesExcellent interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence for understanding customer needs and building relationshipsAbility to read, analyze, and interpret scientific and technical documentationExperience with data analysis, data manipulation, experimental design, and method developmentGood commercial awareness and professional demeanorFluent written and spoken communication skills in English and German and/or French; additional language skills beneficialValid driver's license and ability to travel frequently (50-75% of time)Deep technical knowledge of specific product portfolio and applicationsUnderstanding of relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practicesStrong problem-solving abilities and analytical mindsetProficiency in Microsoft Office applications and relevant scientific softwareAbility to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environmentDemonstrated commitment to customer satisfaction and continuous learningCompetencies:Customer focusScientific and technical expertiseProblem-solving and analytical thinkingCommunication and presentation excellenceCollaboration and teamworkAdaptability and independenceBenefits:We offer competitive remuneration, annual incentive plan bonus, healthcare, and a range of employee benefits.
