Work ScheduleStandard (Mon-Fri)Environmental ConditionsOfficeJob DescriptionWould you like to be a part of the agile R&D team which develops scientific instruments like Gas Chromatography and Mass spectrometers that help in the pharmaceutical, chemical, food and environmental laboratories?Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry division – Applied Analytical Technologies team is seeking for a Life Cycle Engineer – Electronics, who will join our motivated team and support our existing products from R&D point of view.Key responsibilitiesSupport manufacturing sites with component obsolescence, shortages, technical issues, defects, modifications, and reworksCooperate with service engineers on design-related field issuesProcess engineering changes including ECRs, ECOs, and BOM updatesQualify alternative components and perform testing at component, PCBA, and system levelRedesign PCBAs for lifecycle sustainability, cost reduction, and value engineeringCollaborate with mechanical, electronic, and scientific development teamsCoordinate prototype manufacturing, assembly, and operational testingEnsure compliance with functional specifications and customer requirementsDrive continuous improvement of change processes and supplier managementSupport quality assurance activities related to new materials, end-of-life components, and supplier-initiated changesActively participate in quality circles to ensure production continuity and eliminate quality defectsRequirementsUniversity degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field2+ years of professional experience in life cycle engineering, value engineering, component engineering, or electronic circuit designVery good knowledge of electronic components and their parametersExperience in testing, debugging, and root cause analysis at PCBA and system levelHands-on experience with lab equipment such as multimeter and oscilloscopeAbility to solder electronic componentsExperience with electronic design and PCB layout tools such as Altium Designer, Mentor Graphics PADS, or SPICE simulatorsKnowledge of PLM and PDM systems is an advantageCost-conscious, autonomous working style with the ability to drive efficiencyStrong collaboration and communication skillsGood written and spoken EnglishFluent Czech/Slovak is preferredWhat we offer:Work with us and be an important part of a company developing ground breaking technologies for analytical science customers worldwide.We have modern work environment including relax zones, power yoga lectures, gym, outside playground and massages in the building.
