Join Gilead and help create possible, together.Job Description Key Responsibilities:Analytics & ReportingOwn the design, development, and maintenance of supply chain dashboards andreports (e.g., OTIF, cycle time, inventory aging, capacity, and freight costs).Translate business questions into analytical requirements and deliver recurring andad-hoc insights for leadership.Standardize KPI definitions and ensure consistent measurement across functions.Data Integration & GovernanceIntegrate and harmonize data from SAP, 3PLs, WMS/TMS, freight paymentprocessors, and clinical/commercial systems.Maintain data quality controls for master data, lot/batch/PO matching, and datalineage; steward data dictionaries and standards.Establish and monitor exception handling, audit trails, and issue remediationworkflows.Reconciliation & Financial ControlDesign and operate automated processes to reconcile internal ERP data withexternal partner feeds.Ensure SOX-compliant documentation, evidence, and control performance; preparefor and support internal/external audits.Investigate discrepancies, execute root-cause analysis, and drivecorrective/preventive actions.Risk & Scenario ModelingBuild and maintain simulation and scenario models (e.g., capacity, storage, logisticsrisk) to support network strategy and procurement decisions.Assess utilization constraints, stress-test future pipeline needs, and recommendmitigation strategies.Freight Payment & Cost AssuranceValidate PO allocations, freight invoices, and coding against policy and master data.Partner with finance and logistics to resolve discrepancies, recover costs, andprevent excess payments.Automation & ToolingDevelop and maintain automation (e.g., SQL, Python, VBA) to reduce manual effortand improve timeliness and accuracy.Create SOPs, process maps, and technical documentation to institutionalize toolsand processes.Cross-Functional PartnershipCollaborate with commercial planning, clinical operations, logistics, procurement,QA, and finance to define requirements and prioritize analytics roadmaps.Coordinate with external partners (3PLs, freight processors, and consultants) on datainterfaces, SLAs, and continuous improvement.Continuous ImprovementLead Lean/Six Sigma initiatives to eliminate waste, streamline workflows, andsustain performance gains.Quantify impact in terms of service, cost, risk, and compliance; track benefitsrealizationBasic Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience,ORMaster’s degree (MA/MS/MBA) with at least 3 years of relevant experience.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in biopharmaceutical, pharmaceutical, or highly regulated manufacturing environments.Strong experience with ERP systems and supply chain operations management.Background in inventory planning, production scheduling, and process optimization.Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and operational improvement projects.Experience supporting global supply chain operations and business process standardization. The salary range for this position is: $102,085.00 - $132,110.00. Gilead considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location. These considerations mean actual compensation will vary. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives (eligibility may vary based on role), paid time off, and a benefits package.
