In this high-impact role, you’ll solve complex engineering challenges, improve system reliability, and help shape the future of energy delivery.You will lead complex engineering efforts across power generation systems, enhance performance, and drive innovation across facilities and operations. This role offers increasing independence, influence over technical decisions, and the opportunity to contribute to long-term engineering strategy.What You’ll DoLead and support engineering efforts across the full project lifecycle, including design, procurement, construction, permitting, commissioning, and operationsAnalyze system and equipment performance to drive improvements in reliability, efficiency, and safetySupport and advance power generation initiatives, including system performance optimization and maintenance strategiesCollaborate with cross-functional partners—including consultant engineering firms, internal engineering, drafting, purchasing, inspection, contracts, planning, and operations—to deliver solutions aligned with business and operational goalsSupport maintenance programs, outage planning, and troubleshooting effortsLead design reviews and facilitate lessons learned initiativesMentor and support the development of engineers and technical staffLead or contribute to projects of increasing scope and complexityStaff level: lead large-scale, high-impact initiativesWhat You’ll BringRequired:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology (P.E. license required for Engineering Technology degrees)Experience supporting power generation, industrial infrastructure, or facility operationsKnowledge of engineering workflows, project lifecycle processes, and design principlesProficiency in construction and constructibility practices, principles, and emerging technology trendsPower plant or energy infrastructure experienceSenior: 8+ years of relevant experienceStaff: 15+ years of progressive experience in energy, natural gas, or related industriesShift/Work Hours/Travel Requirements: Must be willing to travel 25% to 50%Preferred:Professional Engineer (P.E.) licenseExperience supporting project execution, including EPC, FEED, or large capital projectsExperience with maintenance programs, outage coordination, or operational systemsProven ability to improve system performance and reliabilityWhat You’ll GetOpportunity to work on high-impact energy infrastructure projectsExposure to Power Innovation initiatives and advanced technologiesA collaborative environment focused on safety, reliability, and continuous improvementThe opportunity to mentor others and influence engineering standards and practices#LI-AB1About Houston (Williams Tower Location):Our Houston office is located in the Williams Tower, just steps from the Houston Galleria on Post Oak Boulevard, an area with more than 700 retailers, fine dining and hotels within two square miles.
