This role will ensure our facility equipment is maintained and pipeline operations are successful. Troubleshooting, problem solving skills and accurate record-keeping are a must, while maintaining safety as a top priority!Responsibilities/Expectations:Performs a variety of tasks to safely maintain facility equipment and support pipeline operations, including technical standards and governmental requirementsCarries out moderate to highly sophisticated technical assignments as prescribed by leader, analyzing data to resolve issuesReads and interprets drawings; drafts operations and maintenance proceduresFollows all of our policies and applies appropriate proceduresCoordinates protection of community, personnel, environment and assetsOversees general knowledge of site/location/equipment specific permits and complianceCompletes assigned reports, logs and maintains accurate recordsOther duties as assignedEducation/Years of Experience:Operations Technician IIRequired: High School Diploma/GED and minimum two (2) years’ related experience and minimum of one (1) year experience as a technician in the oil and gas industryPreferred: Associates or two-year technical degree and minimum one (1) year of multifaceted operations technician experience in the oil and gas industryOperations Technician IIIRequired: High School Diploma/GED and minimum three (3) years of demonstrated ability as an operations technician or similar rolePreferred: Associates or 2-year technical degree and minimum two (2) years of multifaceted operations technician experience in the oil and gas industryOperations Technician SrRequired: High School Diploma/GED; a minimum six (6) years of demonstrated ability as an Operations Technician for similar equipment or facilityPreferred: Associates or 2-year technical degree; a minimum six (6) years of multifaceted operations technician experience within a natural gas processing or compression facilityPhysical and Environment Work Requirements:Must be willing to:Work in extreme temperatures, with loud noises and in enclosed spacesCarry or lift items up to 50 lbs and team lift loads of more than 50 lbs as neededStand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, and squat, often for long periods of timeWork at elevated levels, potentially from man lifts, ladders, scaffolding, and/or small towers, with appropriate PPE (Personal Protection Equipment)Use hand toolsShift/Work Hours/Travel Requirements:Available to work after hours, on-call rotations, nights, weekend shifts and holidays as the need arisesMay be required to work overtime, 10-12 hour shifts and travel between Williams locations with occasional overnight staysOther Requirements:Must possess valid State Driver’s License and clean driving recordDemonstrates aptitude and ability to embrace technology and applications to drive operational efficiency and streamline processesDemonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priorityProficiency in Microsoft Office Application and PC skills and proficient/advanced knowledge of Process Control Systems and Programmable Logic Controllers#LI-KR1Hourly/Salary Guidelines:(Minimum, Midpoint, Maximum)$31 - $45 - $60We invest in our people in ways that actually show up in your day-to-day, not just on paper.
