Job DescriptionAre You Ready to Make It Happen at Mondelēz International?Join our Mission to Lead the Future of Snacking. Make It With Pride.Trade investment is one of the largest cost lines in CPG. This position exists to bring control, transparency, and accountability to how that money is planned, spent, and verified across all channels and retail partners.You will own the full cycle from annual budget planning to monthly actuals tracking to hands-on Proof of Performance verification. You will be the person who ensures that promotional and contractual commitments made by the sales team are properly executed, documented, and reconciled against what was invoiced.How you will contributeYou will: Trade Investment ManagementPlan and forecast trade investments by channel, client, and cost line (monthly and annual cycles)Track and reconcile actuals vs. plan for promotional spend and contractual obligations — NKA, LKA, TT, and other channelsMaintain the trade investment register: full breakdown of commercial expenses by channel, client, category.Calculate and monitor TI% monthly; flag deviations and quantify the differenceMaintain Trade investment scorecards for key accounts (NKA/LKA): AC, actuals, and rolling forecastsLead delivery of the trade investment dashboard; recommend corrective actions when targets are at riskProof of Performance (PoP)Collect, verify, and reconcile promotional actuals from all clients (off-invoice and on-invoice)Cross-check submitted invoices against promo calendars, off-take calculations, and shelf execution photosIdentify discrepancies between what was planned, what was executed, and what was billed — and clarify themAudit PoP drives daily; track document completeness; escalate missing evidenceCross-functional CollaborationWork closely with KAMs and sales teams to collect accurate data and align on variance driversPartner with Finance (internal and distributor) on cost allocation, invoice verification, and monthly closeServe as the internal expert on trade investment processes — create clear, actionable reporting for all stakeholdersMore about this roleWhat extra ingredients you will bring:Strong analytical mindset — comfortable working with large datasets, building bottom-up calculations, and spotting discrepanciesFinance or accounting background with commercial understanding (FMCG experience is a strong advantage)High attention to detail and disciplined approach to recurring processes — monthly closes, weekly audits, document controlConfidence to push back on sales teams or clients when numbers don't add up or documentation is missingAbility to manage multiple data sources and stakeholders simultaneously without losing accuracyEducation / Certifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related fieldJob specific requirements:The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical acumen, a future-focused mindset, and proven experience in trade investment control within the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector. Prior experience with "Big 4" companies in consulting, audit, or related fields is highly welcomed.
