Cadbury has been Tasmanian made for over 100 years, and to this day 48 dairy farms in Tasmania's north-west proudly supply the glass and a half in every block. Each day, 400,000 litres of milk is collected and processed at our Burnie plant, where it's turned into sweetened condensed and concentrated milk, before being transported to our nearby factory in Claremont.Claremont is the largest Cadbury factory in Australia and the Southern Hemisphere. Celebrating 100 years in production in 2022, the site delivers approximately 200 million blocks and 60,000 tonnes of chocolate annually, including other iconic products like Cadbury Freddo, Twirl and Caramello Koala to name a few! We source over 110 million litres of fresh milk from around 48 Tasmanian dairy farms in the Burnie region annually, and 100% of the cocoa used across all Cadbury chocolate we make is sustainably sourced.How you will contributeInternal documentation and change management control, including quality policy amendments and registration of internal and external documentationCoordinating and conducting internal auditsDriving effective PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) cycles and CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) system managementSupporting management review processesCoordinating the eQCMS bi-annual reviewManaging consumer complaints from start to finishServing as a key contact for food regulatory agency inspections and liaisonWhat you will bringA desire to drive your future and accelerate your career and the following experience and knowledge:Relevant quality experience within food or beverage manufacturing (dairy industry experience is highly advantageous)Ability to work efficiently within a team environmentFlexibility and adaptability to meet customer and business requirementsExperience working with farmers to ensure compliance to policies and procedures, and with technical vendors to support complianceStrong communication skills, both verbal and writtenProject management capability with the ability to manage multiple activities simultaneouslyProficiency in MS Office applicationsMore about this roleThis is a full-time position based at our milk processing facility at Burnie.Candidates with previous experience in Quality control in the food manufacturing industry or dairy industry will be looked on favourably.The position is based on site and no relocation assistance is available for this role.
