With a career at The Home Depot, you can be yourself and also be part of something bigger.Position Purpose:Oversees, maintains, and repairs equipment as well as other facility structures in a complex, warehouse environment.Key Responsibilities:50% Troubleshoots and repairs electric lift equipment, conveyor systems, as well as technical, mechanical hydraulic and pheumatic issues where needed. Understands and troubleshoots conveyor operating system logic20% Performs preventative maintenance as well as necessary modifications on electric lift equipment, conveyor systems and buildings.10% Provides equipment status report, including details of unusual maintenance problems. 10% Follows all safety guidelines established by manufacturer, Home Depot, or government agencies. Adheres to all safety codes and OSHA standards10% Maintains safe and clean working environment, performing daily cleanup of work areasDirect Manager/Direct Reports:This position reports to Area Supervisor. This position has 0 direct reports.Travel Requirements:Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.Physical Requirements:Must continuously stand or walk or regularly requires lifting/handling/carrying material or equipment of moderate weight (8-20 pounds).Working Conditions:Typically in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors such as temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noise, and fumes which cause noticeable discomfort or a moderate risk of accident or illness.
