With a career at The Home Depot, you can be yourself and also be part of something bigger.The Foundation Projects Senior Specialist drives the development and execution of high-impact nonprofit partnerships aligned with The Home Depot Foundation’s corporate social responsibility strategy. This role manages the full grant lifecycle—including evaluation, award, payment, and reporting—while ensuring accurate data management and compliance within grant systems.The Senior Specialist oversees multiple project budgets and nonprofit relationships, providing insights and recommendations to strengthen program effectiveness, partnerships, impact goals, and storytelling. This position also supports board meeting preparation and coordinates nonprofit board service for associates.Additionally, the role designs and manages programs to deliver measurable community impact and advance the Foundation’s portfolio using industry best practices. Success in this role requires strong operational execution, including cross-functional coordination, logistics management, and clear, timely communication with internal teams and external partners.Key Responsibilities:34% Operations - Provide insight and recommendations on program operations and policies 33% Plan and implement Projects - Design, implement and manage programs to advance The Home Depot's portfolio by incorporating industry best practices 33% Support program operations and strategies - Support program operations and strategies to include budgets, financials, impact goals, partnerships, storytelling, grantmaking, executive project review, and development of resourcesDirect Manager/Direct Reports: This Position typically reports to Manager or aboveThis Position has 0 direct reports.Travel Requirements: Typically requires overnight travel 5% to 20% of the time.Physical Requirements: Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions, there may be a need to move or lift light articles.Working Conditions: Located in a comfortable indoor area.
