From advocating for seat belts, air bags and graduated driving laws, to being an industry leader in pricing sophistication, telematics, and, more recently, device and identity protection. Job DescriptionThe Strategic Organization and Talent Advisor, Expert provides strategic partnership to the executive and senior leadership team of an Area of Responsibility (AOR) or Market Facing Business (MFB) at Allstate. This role works closely with leaders and stakeholders to deliver high-impact talent initiatives that drive business value.Key Responsibilities:Proactively consult on broad business strategies to elevate and prioritize talent-driven initiativesProvide evidence-based consulting on strategic talent initiatives including organization design, workforce planning, compensation, succession and development, engagement, team effectiveness, and workforce transitionsBuild strong relationships across HR and business leadership to establish credibility and trustLead the delivery of talent strategies of moderate to high complexity aligned to business prioritiesEnsure all initiatives are clearly tied to business outcomes and measurable valueBuild and present business intelligence and insights using storytelling to influence executive decision-makingLeverage analytics and benchmarking (internal/external) to inform recommendations and solutionsNavigate effectively between AOR-specific priorities and enterprise-wide needsLead change management efforts tied to organizational transformation and talent implicationsInfluence and enable change to support business growth and talent prioritiesFunctional Skills: Connects business strategy to talent implications and prioritiesInfluences up, down, and across to drive decisionsDiagnoses issues and develops practical, data-informed solutionsBuilds trust quickly with leaders and partners effectivelyNavigates and leads through ambiguity and evolving business needsAdjusts approach across diverse leadership styles to drive outcomesChallenges the status quo and identifies opportunities to enhance effectivenessEducation and Experience: 7–10 years of experience in organization design, organizational effectiveness,  and strategic HR consultingDeep expertise in organization design practices, including organization health and effectivenessProven experience advising and partnering with senior leaders on complex HR programs and initiativesDemonstrated success developing and executing talent strategies aligned to business prioritiesStrong experience leading complex organizational design work, HR program launches, and cross-functional initiativesProven ability to operate independently in a consultative, executive-facing environmentDemonstrated ability to influence, challenge thinking, and build credibility across HR and business leadershipSupervisory Responsibilities: This job does not have supervisory duties but will lead, influence, and direct work across cross-functional teams and stakeholders.LocationHybrid, ChicagoTravelApproximately 2–3 times per yearAllstate provides a comprehensive technology setup, including a laptop, monitors, headset, keyboard, and mouse.
