Title and Summary Senior Specialist, Global Product Management About the role: The Mastercard Services global product team is seeking an accomplished Senior Specialist for its Mastercard Business Intelligence product. Mastercard Business Intelligence is at the heart of a business intelligence eco-system built on a universe of market data and payment insights. It helps customers across the globe make smarter decisions, stay competitive, and embrace new trends. The Senior Specialist role requires a strong balance of product ownership, technical fluency, and execution rigor. You will operate autonomously within a global team, ensuring alignment across Product, Engineering, UX, and senior leaders across partner teams in the Product and Engineering organization to deliver complex projects and programs. You will define roadmap deliverables, develop program execution plans, align dependencies, track progress, anticipate risks, provide escalation management, make sound trade-off decisions, and balance business needs versus technical constraints. The ideal candidate is passionate about the customer experience journey, highly motivated, intellectually curious, analytical, and possesses an entrepreneurial mindset. You are expected to be detail-oriented, with a solid technical background and excellent problem-solving skills. Product Management in Services at Mastercard Maintain deep understanding of the platform, the integration patterns, the organizational capabilities, and the company wide assets that can be leveraged to provide technical solutions to customer problems Interact with product managers, software development managers, developers, and senior leaders across partner teams in the Product and Engineering organization to deliver complex projects and programs Translate a deep understanding of our customers into products and solutions that drive significant customer value Balance the long-term direction of a product with today’s needs and constraints by fully understanding the technical, competitive, and commercial contexts of our products Drive globally relevant solutions by understanding regional needs and tradeoffs, and build scalable products that serve an array of customer segments Stay on top of tactical execution rigorously inspecting the delivery plans and execution metrics Adapt to shifting goals and activities while managing multiple activities in parallel Role Possess excellent interpersonal and presentation skills with ability to work with a globally diverse team across different time zones Participate in regular prioritization discussions with Mastercard’s internal teams (engineering, account managers, content, legal etc.) Validate technical delivery and ensure that delivered functionality complies with the product requirements and is fit-for-purpose Drive product development focusing on customer journey and experience Prepare launches and monitors product performance, adoption, and operational health Creation and elaboration of features keeping the customer value in center focus and ensuring the stories in the feature allow the engineers to fully execute the intended outcome of the feature. Make a point to listen, observe and understand senior management and cross-functional team perspectives and/or preferences; ask effective questions to clarify understanding Use customer needs, research, user studies, metrics and competitive analysis to document business and product requirements and inform the backlog Display judgment to know when to escalate issues and liaise with cross-functional teams for resolution Support and participate in post-launch reviews and ensures feedback is reincorporated into enhancements Own and manage product documentation ensuring it is clear and easily consumable by product, cross-functional and engineering teams Stay aligned with go-to-market plans for the product set Report status and manage risks within their primary product team Take initiative and actively seek and participate in activities which stretches ones existing skill set All About You Bachelor's degree Develop inspiring product vision and strategy derived from customer needs, market opportunities, and technology trends Translate product strategy into product roadmaps and team goals Work with Software Development Engineers, UX designers, and Technical Program Managers to define product requirements Leverage usage data and other customer-based evidence to prioritize feature roadmap Strong ability to interact with, influence, and build consensus across a variety of internal business units, external partners, and service providers Exce
