Who we are looking forWe are seeking a senior, strategic, and execution-focused leader to serve as Chief Operating Officer for SSFSIL and Head of Transfer Agency Ireland. The successful candidate will operate within a complex global matrix, driving transformation, governance, and client outcomes while ensuring alignment with enterprise priorities and regulatory obligations in Ireland.What you will be responsible forAs COO, SSFSIL & Global Delivery Ireland LeadOwn full P&L, strategy, and execution for Global Delivery Ireland, ensuring alignment with enterprise goals and regulatory obligationsLead operational delivery across all Global Delivery teams (traditional and alternatives), driving year-on-year efficiency and scalabilityAct as the senior escalation point, navigating global matrix structures to resolve complex client and operational issuesEnsure strong governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks, including oversight of audits, regulatory requirements, fiduciary controls, and business continuityDrive implementation of the global operating model and business transformation initiativesLead change management across client integration, regulatory change, and internal transformation programsEnsure optimal resource allocation across staff, technology, and financial oversightAs Head of Transfer Agency IrelandDirect end-to-end Transfer Agency operations in Ireland, ensuring SLA adherence, service quality, and operational resilienceDrive continuous process improvement leveraging automation, best practices, and centers of excellenceEnhance capacity management and operational scalability to support growth objectives and improved marginsPartner with Technology & Transformation teams to address technology challenges and deliver strategic investmentsMaintain strong alignment to client service expectations through KPI-driven performance managementClient, Growth & Commercial LeadershipPartner with Sales, Product, and Relationship teams to support key client relationships and new business originationLead new business reviews, ensuring alignment to the operating model, scalability, and profitability targetsCollaborate with Product Management on investment roadmaps to enhance product capabilities and service deliveryDrive a client-centric culture in partnership with CPO and CCO leadership teamsRisk, Governance & LeadershipIdentify operational risks and implement mitigation strategiesEnsure adherence to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practicesLead KPI and SLA governance to ensure consistent client deliveryDevelop and mentor senior leaders, ensuring strong succession planning and leadership continuityWhat we valueThese skills will help you succeed in this role:Proven ability to lead large-scale, multi-location operations within a complex global matrixStrong commercial acumen with demonstrated P&L ownership and margin optimizationDeep expertise in Transfer Agency and investment servicing operationsStrong risk and control mindset with experience in regulated environmentsAbility to drive transformation, automation, and continuous improvement at scaleExecutive presence with strong stakeholder management across clients and senior leadershipStrategic thinking combined with hands-on execution capabilityEducation & Preferred QualificationsDegree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related discipline (advanced degree preferred)Extensive experience in financial services operations, with significant leadership experienceProven track record in leading large operational teams and delivering transformation initiativesStrong knowledge of regulatory environments, particularly within Ireland/EMEAExperience managing global client relationships and complex service delivery modelsAdditional requirementsAbility to operate effectively in a global matrix organizationWillingness to engage across multiple time zones and travel as requiredAbout State StreetAcross the globe, institutional investors rely on us to help them manage risk, respond to challenges, and drive performance and profitability.
