Vice President - Head of Digital for SSIM Finance

Who we are looking forThe Head of Digital for SSIM Finance is a VP level role based in India and will lead the strategy and execution of SSIM Finance’s technology-led transformation agenda, driving the transition from manual, fragmented processes to a scalable, data-driven, and AI-enabled operating model. The role will deliver Finance-wide digital capabilities across data, reporting, automation, and analytics, while ensuring strong governance, controls, and business adoption.SSIM, the asset management division of State Street, is one of the largest asset managers globally, with ~$6 trillion in AUM, including over $2 trillion in ETFs.What You Will Be Responsible ForLead delivery of Finance digital capabilities across data, reporting, automation, analytics, and AIBuild a unified, governed Finance data foundation and enable self-service insightsDrive automation and embed AI into Finance workflows to improve efficiency and scalabilityDefine and execute the multi-year Digital & Analytics road-map aligned to CFO prioritiesEstablish a single source of truth for Finance data and reportingDeliver enterprise reporting, dashboards, and decision-support toolsIdentify and execute process transformation and automation opportunitiesEnsure strong governance, risk management, and regulatory compliancePartner with CFOs, business leaders, IT, and DART to drive outcomesLead adoption of digital tools across global Finance teamsBuild and develop a high-performing Finance Digital organizationExperience & Preferred Qualifications15–20+ years in Finance, Digital, Data, or Transformation roles (financial services preferred)Proven track record leading complex, cross-functional transformation initiativesStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a hands-on approachExcellent communication and executive-level presentation skillsWhat we value These skills will help you succeed in this roleForward thinking, innovative and influential leaderStrong IT project management skillsStrong execution, collaboration and strategic skillsChampion of employee development and engagementAbout State StreetAcross the globe, institutional investors rely on us to help them manage risk, respond to challenges, and drive performance and profitability.
