Who we are looking forTechnical Program Manager to lead and manage cross functional teams to deliver complex technology programs at State Street Global Markets. We are looking for an experienced leader to drive several large and complex initiatives, ensuring alignment with business & tech objectives. This is an internal facing role with need to work in a collaborative, team-driven environment with focus on project planning, resource allocation, and stakeholder communication to achieve successful program outcomes.Having Capital markets domain knowledge is a plus along with strong analytical and interpersonal skills.This role is based in Boston, MA, USA and will work with globally distributed team.What you will be responsible forAs a Technical Program Manager, you will be responsible for:Develop and execute program plans, define scope, objectives and timelinesWork with engineering, product and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful project deliveryIdentify and mitigate risks, develop contingency plans, and manage potential roadblocksCommunicate program status, updates and potential issues to stakeholdersEstablish and maintain strong project governance processes, ensuring adherence to standards and best practicesExperience using agile/scrum SDLCEffectively manage and communicate changes within the program, ensuring minimal disruption and continued project successAnalyze program performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement data-driven optimizationPossess understanding of cloud based implementation, technology migration projectsWork closely with on-shore and off-shore team members. This includes other program/ project managers, business analysts, developers and QA personnelWhat we valueThe ability to effectively work and communicate across the global organization including Business Sponsors, Project Managers, Business Analysts, onshore/offshore Development and QA teams located globally. Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and decision-making skillsStrong interpersonal communication, collaboration, facilitation, and presentation skillsDemonstrated experience working in an environment managing multiple, concurrent deliverables with shifting priorities, demands, and timelinesEducation & Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree10+ years experience in managing and delivering large IT projectsSuccessful track record of delivering projects and programs using lightweight or agile approachesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrated strength in initiative-taking, leadership and influencing skillsAbility to adapt quickly in a fast–growing and changing environmentThorough understanding of the software development lifecycle for iterative, agile, and traditional approaches. Experience with JIRA a strong plus.Team player, detail oriented and self-motivated to drive work to proceed with minimal supervisionMultiple tasking ability.
