Who we are looking for:As a Chief Data Office (CDO) Business Coverage Adoption Lead you will be responsible for working with Business Unit core teams, Data Stewards, Technical Data Stewards, Analysts, IT and the CDO team to implement and operationalize CDO initiatives. Adoption Leads provide guidance and expertise with a goal of driving the enterprise data strategy, data governance policy and standards across the organization working to build strong data governance operating models for each.What you will be responsible for:As a CDO Business Coverage Adoption LeadWork with the CDO team to implement and operationalize CDO initiativesDrive Data Governance activities across business units, including understanding accountability, policy compliance and data quality issue tracking and resolutionSupport the day to day stewardship to drive data-decision making process and facilitate discussions to address confliction viewpoints with the goal of arriving at mutually satisfactory agreementsGuide the business unit data stewards to solutions for information sourcing, provisioning, consumption and standardization reporting and analyticsLead projects involving upstream and downstream data flows and processes to ensure compliance with data governance policyCreate reporting around data governance progress for key stakeholders and management and conduct as needed alignment meeting on strategic data driven initiativesWhat we value:These skills will help you succeed in this roleStrong leadership and organizational awareness with ability to facilitate and resolve conflictsStrong written and oral communication skills to motivate and influence staff and customers, including strong presentation and interpersonal skillsAbility to understand data models, data taxonomy and deep appreciation of data standards and data qualityExceptional analytical, conceptual and problem -solving abilitiesProven ability to achieve success within a large organization, with the requisite negotiation, sales and consensus building skills.Education and Preferred Qualifications:5+ years of Financial Services Industry is requiredData Governance BackgroundExperience with Collibra DICStrong understanding of enterprise data management concepts, principles and practicesBA/BS Computer Science/ Business/ MISProven understanding of global environmentSalary Range: $90,000 - $157,500 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified.
