We’re seeking someone to join our team as an Associate in Credit Risk team.In the Firm Risk Management division, we advise businesses across the Firm on risk mitigation strategies, develop tools to analyse and monitor risks and lead key regulatory initiatives.Since 1935, Morgan Stanley is known as a global leader in financial services, always evolving and innovating to better serve our clients and our communities in more than 40 countries around the world.What you’ll do in the role:Manage and monitor of a portfolio of borrowersResponsible for the financial and credit analysis for an assigned coverage portfolioTrack and monitor industry trends for assigned coverage portfolioPresent and discuss credit views internally on assigned coverage portfolio, including rating and regulatory classification recommendationOversee the tracking and monitoring of borrower compliance in accordance with contractual terms and Firm requirements for the assigned coverage portfolioProviding senior oversight to junior team members and lead in analytic discussions with coverage officersWhat you’ll bring to the role:Superior written and verbal communication skillsQuantitative orientationAbility to manage dynamic prioritiesFinance and/or accounting degree preferableKnowledge of the loan origination and collateralized structured lending preferredExperience in at least one of the following industries required: corporate loans, consumer loans, US residential mortgages, aircraft financing, single family rental or CRE loansMinimum 3 years of relevant experienceExperience in training junior talentMasters or equivalent professional qualification (CFA, CA, CPA, etc preferred)Perform ad-hoc tasks as requested by onshore teams and senior stakeholdersPossess strong problem identification and solution techniquesGood collaboration skills in a team-oriented environmentWHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM MORGAN STANLEY: At Morgan Stanley, we raise, manage and allocate capital for our clients – helping them reach their goals.
