Employment Type:Full timeShift:Day ShiftDescription:Position Purpose Under the direction of the Environmental Services Manager or designee, the Housekeeper (Environmental Support Assistant) and Driver plays a vital role in ensuring a clean, sanitary, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff. This position also provides and coordinates transportation to meet residents’ needs, ensuring safe and timely travel to medical appointments, recreational outings, and other off-site activities in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations. What You Will DoPerform light to thorough housekeeping in resident apartments and common areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, bathroom and kitchen sanitization, and floor careComplete laundry services such as collecting, washing, folding, and distributing resident linens and garmentsPerform deep cleaning of apartments during resident move-outsEmpty trash and recyclables and maintain cleanliness of assigned areasReport maintenance issues such as lighting or equipment concerns promptlyMaintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment while following infection control and universal precautions.Provide safe and reliable transportation for residents to appointments, shopping, and community activities.Coordinate daily and weekly transportation schedules, including managing appointment logs and regular group outings.Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and external partners to ensure timely and efficient transport services.Assist residents with limited mobility, including boarding, securing mobility devices, and ensuring overall safety during transport.Monitor residents’ well-being during transport and report any concerns to appropriate staff.Maintain vehicle readiness, including cleanliness, fueling, preventative maintenance, and accurate mileage and usage logs.Collaborate with leadership and staff to improve transportation processes and coordinate alternative transportation services when needed.Support scheduling of staff assistance for resident appointments when required.Follow safety, infection control, and universal precaution practicesInteract respectfully with residents, honoring privacy, dignity, and confidentialityAnticipate resident needs and go above and beyond to maintain a comfortable, welcoming environmentMinimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentValid Driver's license required and must have a safe driving record.Previous experience in assisted living or with the geriatric population preferredStrong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentAble to transfer residents on and off bus and into appointments or other destinations as requireBasic computer skills and strong organizational abilitiesAbout Trinity Health Senior Communities  Highland Hills is part of Trinity Senior Living Communities, a ministry of Trinity Health—one of the nation’s largest not-for-profit Catholic health systems.
