Employment Type:Part timeShift:12 Hour Night ShiftDescription:Job Title:  Registered Respiratory TherapistEmployment Type:  PRNShift: Night Shift (7pm-7:30am)Location: Silver Spring, MDPosition Highlights: Competitive salaryQuality of Life: Flexible work schedulesAdvancement: Career growth opportunitiesResponsibilities:Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care to a specified group of patients.Collaborates with physicians, medical professionals and other staff to ensure the quality of care given. Provides care for the neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult or geriatric patient (as defined in the unit scope of care). Utilizes knowledge of the principles of growth and development appropriate to the patient’s age to ensure that care provided meets the unique, physical and psychosocial needs of the patient.  Involves appropriate parties (i.e.; patient’s family or guardian, outside agencies) in the assessment, treatment and continuing care of the patient as needed.Supports the Mission of Trinity Health and Holy Cross Hospital. What you will need:Registry with the National Board of Respiratory Care as a Registered Respiratory TherapistCurrent licensure from the state of Maryland as a Respiratory Care PractitionerAt least one (1) year of clinical experience preferredCurrent CPR training with recertification every two years.Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)Pay Range-$33.73-$50.59Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
