Academic rank and track commensurate with academic record and experience.Position OverviewThe Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery is seeking an outstanding, motivated, board-certified/board-eligible plastic surgeon to join our comprehensive plastic surgery team. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest and experience in breast and body surgery, lower extremity reconstruction, complex wounds, and have a genuine commitment to building and growing a clinical program within an academic health system. This position offers the opportunity to assume leadership positions at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center’s East Hospital and Comprehensive Wound Center, where they would play a pivotal role in program development, clinical innovation, and the continued expansion of plastic surgery services. The successful candidate will join several existing multidisciplinary teams dedicated to collaboration and delivering exceptional patient care. The successful candidate will also contribute actively to the department’s academic mission through teaching and mentorship of residents and medical students. These faculty will have earned a Doctor of Medicine (MD), Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO), doctorate (PhD) or other terminal degree in the relevant field. Clinical faculty members are not eligible for tenure and are appointed for terms of three to five years. They may be reappointed to successive terms.
