Job Title:Lecturer - History of ArtDepartment:Arts and Sciences | History of ArtPosition OverviewThe Department of History of Art seeks a Senior Lecturer to teach 2 of courses for the 2026-2027 academic year. In addition to teaching, the Senior Lecturer prepares syllabi and course materials for assigned courses, holds office hours, grades assignments, submits grades by deadlines, and communicates regularly with students. Performance ObjectivesPlanning and organizing instruction in ways that maximize student learningMeeting scheduled classes and office hours in accordance with university policyEnsuring curriculum implementation and course preparation in accordance with department standardsPreparing homework and exams, evaluating, and returning student work in a timely manner to promote learningMaintaining accurate records of students’ progress and submitting the final grade roster in accordance with established university deadlinesMaintaining confidentiality of student information in accordance with FERPAEducation and Experience RequirementsRequired: Master’s Degree.
