You can review the additional job description section on postings for documents that may be required.Prior to submitting your application, please review and update (if necessary) the information in your candidate profile as it will transfer to your application. Job Title:Research Senior TechnicianDepartment:Engineering | Biomedical EngineeringResearch Technician to work under guidance from the Principal Investigator (PI) to develop and implement image analysis algorithms; assists with application of image analysis tools to microscopy images; write progress reports and summarizes results; performs additional duties as assigned.QualificationsRequired: Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering or equivalent experience required; 4 years of relevant experience in computational image analysis and spatial statistics required with High School diploma or GED, 2 years of relevant experience in computational image analysis and spatial statistics required with Associate's Degree, or 0 years of relevant experience in computational image analysis and spatial statistics required with Bachelor's Degree. Ability to translate, adapt and apply academic or practical knowledge to research required.Desired:1-2 years of relevant experience in computational image analysis and spatial statistics preferred. Experience with high resolution microscopy methods, especially confocal microscopy.Additional Information:The target hiring range for this job profile is $19.28 - $25.19 per hour, paid biweekly.
