This position provides hands-on experience supporting research activities in weed science, including field, greenhouse, and laboratory work, along with opportunities to contribute to independent research projects.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with the planning, setup, and execution of weed science field trialsCollect, record, and manage research data with accuracy and attention to detailProvide support in laboratory, greenhouse, and field environmentsParticipate in general research activities and provide assistance as neededMaintain research equipment and ensure compliance with safety and operational protocolsContribute to or develop an independent research project (opportunity based on interest and performance)Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant fieldHorticultureCrop ScienceAgronomyPlant ScienceStrong organizational and data management skillsAbility to work both independently and collaborativelyWillingness to perform outdoor fieldwork in varying conditionsAttention to detail and commitment to research accuracyAdditional Information:Location:Kottman Hall (0340)Position Type:Temporary (Fixed Term)Scheduled Hours:40Shift:First ShiftFinal candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check.  A drug screen or physical may be required during the post offer process.Thank you for your interest in positions at The Ohio State University and Wexner Medical Center.
