In this role, you’ll support daily dairy operations while also managing feed inventory, quality, and procurement.You’ll work closely with farm staff, veterinarians, nutritionists, and suppliers to help ensure animal health, efficient production, and smooth day-to-day operations. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on agricultural work while also contributing to teaching, research, and innovation in a collaborative environment.What You BringMinimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED4+ years of experience in farm operations or related fields.2+ years’ experience with a bachelors in a related field (animal science, agriculture, agribusiness, etc.)Hands-on experience working with livestock and/or farm operationsAbility to work in both office and farm settings, including animals and equipmentPreferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree in animal science, Agribusiness, Agricultural Economics, or a related field3-5 years’ experience with dairy farm operations and/or feed managementExperience with general equipment operations and maintenance (i.e. Skid steer, tractor, etc.)Familiarity with feed inventory systems, farm management software, or agricultural logisticsKnowledge of livestock nutrition and feed quality standardsExperience leading, training, or mentoring employees or studentsStrong communication, organization, and problem-solving skillsThis position will accept applications until end of day July 8th, 2026.Additional Information:The salary range for this position is $17.50-$22.86/hr. plus staff benefits.The offer for this position will fall within this range based on internal equity, unit’s available budget, and the candidate’s qualificationsThis job profile is a Farm coordinator 4 (T4 level) on the career roadmap.Location:Waterman - Multispecies Animal Learning Complex (1321)Position Type:RegularScheduled Hours:40Shift:First ShiftFinal candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check.  A drug screen or physical may be required during the post offer process.Thank you for your interest in positions at The Ohio State University and Wexner Medical Center.
