Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Power Systems Electrical Engineer to join an innovative engineering team focused on the design and development of electrical power distribution equipment. This role offers the opportunity to work on product design, system integration, testing, and continuous improvement while collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities
Develop electrical designs for power distribution products, including component selection and system integrationAssist with thermal design, mechanical packaging concepts, and interconnection hardware selectionApply knowledge of analog and digital circuit design, magnetics, and thermal managementCreate engineering specifications for power protection and distribution systemsDesign power and control circuits for switchboards and related equipmentDevelop and maintain bills of materials, schematics, and engineering documentationSupport the integration and qualification of third-party components within electrical systemsParticipate in hardware design reviews to improve product performance and reliabilityPrepare technical documentation, manufacturing instructions, and test proceduresProvide engineering support for both new and existing product linesPerform hands-on troubleshooting of electrical systems and subsystemsAssist with product safety certifications and compliance activities involving UL, CSA, IEC, and related standards
Required Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE)Experience with AutoCAD or similar CAD drafting softwareKnowledge of power distribution equipment such as Power Distribution Units (PDU), Static Transfer Switches (STS), Remote Power Panels (RPP), or switchboards
Preferred Qualifications
Experience using electrical engineering test equipment such as oscilloscopes, network analyzers, and signal generatorsKnowledge of three-phase electrical systems and power distributionStrong technical writing, communication, and documentation skillsExcellent laboratory and troubleshooting abilitiesAnalytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
