Equipment Maintenance SpecialistCompany:The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking Equipment Maintenance Specialists (Level B & C) to support our Production Equipment Maintenance Team in West Jordan, Utah and Salt Lake City, Utah. Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate and Experienced Equipment Maintenance Specialists.Position Responsibilities:Performs maintenance on factory equipmentTroubleshoots, analyzes, inspects, disassembles, rebuilds, modifies and tests factory machinery and equipment as necessary using knowledge in areas such as mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumaticsUses and interprets advanced blueprints and schematics to maintain and repair equipment.Responds to requests for equipment repairMaintains and manages component and replacement part inventoriesWorks under limited supervisionBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):3+ years of experience in equipment maintenance1+ years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications (e.g., blueprint/schematic reading, specification, change, design)1+ years experience using electrical test equipment and precision measurement toolsPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experienceExperience using a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)Previous experience in a manufacturing environmentProficiency in troubleshooting and operating PLCs3+ years of experience working with Digital Volt Meters (DVM), Oscilloscopes, AC/DC Power supplies, Frequency Generators, and/or Power MetersConflict of Interest:Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.Drug Free Workplace:Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Shift: This position is for Weekend shift (Fri-Sun, 0500-1730).Total Rewards:At Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
