Join us in powering the progress of global aerospace.Position Overview: Boeing Talent Acquisition is currently looking to hire Lead Software Engineer – Cloud Architect for Boeing India Software Engineering (BISE) to join their team in Bengaluru, India. These positions will focus on supporting the Software Utilities organization. A successful candidate will understand the importance of collaboration as these positions will focus on working directly with the Architect to implement technical solution helping to enable the business unit to meet their organizational goalsPosition Responsibilities: Lead the design and development of scalable, secure, and mission-critical cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, or GCP)Conduct topology analyses and trade studies to inform architectural decisionsDefine and maintain system and software architecture aligned with mission requirementsDevelop Software Design Descriptions (SDDs) and support subsystem architecture evolution through design reviews (PDR/CDR)Integrate cloud systems with avionics, embedded systems, and legacy platformsDevelop Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and support system-of-systems integrationSupport certification efforts through documentation, validation, and evidence generationDesign and implement secure DevSecOps pipelines and accredited CI/CD workflowsSupport verification and validation (V&V) planning and executionEngage with government and regulatory stakeholdersEmployer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.Basic Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree7+ years of experience in software engineering5+ years of experience architecting and developing cloud-based solutions in highly technical or aerospace environmentsExperience with DO-178C-compliant software developmentStrong knowledge of distributed systems, cloud platforms, and secure architecture designExperience with safety-critical or mission-critical systemsFamiliarity with advanced air mobility, autonomous systems, or defense/aerospace domainsPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Bachelor’s degree in computer, Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or related STEM fieldEducation/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 12+ years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master 11+years' related work experience.)Relocation:This position offers relocation within INDIA.Language Requirements:Not ApplicableEducation:Bachelor's Degree or EquivalentRelocation:This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.Security Clearance:This position does not require a Security Clearance.Visa Sponsorship:Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.Contingent Upon Award ProgramThis position is not contingent upon program awardShift:Not a Shift Worker (India)
